Job Title:                 Data Entry Clerk  

Department:             Housing Management

Reports To:              Property Manager

FLSA Status:            Hourly/Non-Exempt

Pay Scale:               $11.00/hour - $15.00/hour



Scope and Purpose

Under the direction of Program/Property Manager, assist in the overall management of housing operations. Above all else, the spirit of teamwork and cooperation with other team members will not only improve the job you do but enhance the entire work experience.



Duties and Responsibilities



General Administration:

§  Assist in processing requests for rent adjustments (interims) in accordance with established procedures, including obtaining verifications, entering information into computer, etc.

§  Assist in maintaining tenant files and related documentation regarding continuing eligibility and adjustments.

§  Assist in checking references and other information on resident applications through Authority’s approved credit and criminal investigative services.

§  Assist in completing Rental Agreements.

§  Prepare reports in accordance with established procedures.

§  Assist in sending/posting all notices regarding compliance to rules and regulations when a violation occurs.

§  Assist in maintaining the property business office in a neat, orderly and business-like manner at all times.
